The supply of hardwood sawlogs from native forests and tropical rainforests has reduced over time, while at same time, the demand for high quality hardwood has increased.

The time is right, therefore, for the development of new plantations for the production of eucalypt sawlog.

Twenty years of research with wide spaced and pruned trees has shown Eucalypt Sawlogs can be grown, milled and seasoned to produce good recoveries of high grade timber. The timber is excellent for use in flooring, furniture and veneers.
