NURSERY
Our major commercial nursery at Manjimup comprises 226 ha, and produces approximately 45 million seedlings and cuttings each year.
Major seedling species grown:
- Eucalyptus globulus (bluegum)
- Seed orchard Eucalyptus globulus (western blue gum)
- Eucalyptus diversicolor (karri)
- Pinus pinaster (maritime pine)
- Pinus radiata (Monterey pine)
- specialised Eucalypt sawlog species
- adaptable low rainfall species
The nursery is used for:
- commercial production and sale of tree seedlings
- sale and deployment of native and genetically improved seed (dieback
- resistant, salt tolerant, low rainfall dependency)
- research and development of tree species for commercial production
- the growth of mixed native shrubs, hardwood species and specialised product
- lines
To ensure you receive the highest quality seedlings, our hygiene and management practices conform to Nursery Industry Association standards and Environmental Management System ISO 14001 accreditation.
Ordering seeds
Seedlings can be grown to order but must be ordered before Oct 31, one year in advance.
