Performance and achievements

We are proud of our achievements in maintaining and protecting Western Australia’s environment, and our commitment to the environment has been recognised publically including at the highest levels of industry government.

In 2007, FPC was a finalist in the WA Environment Awards in the Government leading by example category. Our West Manjimup Nursery is also a two-time back-to-back winner of the NGIA Awards State Winner for Best Large Production Nursery, which acknowledges the efforts of businesses and individuals within the industry who make every effort to achieve the mantle of best practice.

Every year FPC plants more than 10 million new seedlings.

Forest management plan

The Forest management plan (FMP) compliance report is released annually, and reports on the compliance of the Forest Products Commission (FPC) staff and contractors with the provisions of the Forest Management Plan 2004-2013 (FMP) and subsidiary management guideline documents is in accordance with Action 32.5 of the FMP.
