TIMBER FOR SALE
The Forest Products Commission sells raw timber products that have had little or no processing. This includes sawlogs, some types of chiplogs, unprepared firewood logs, poles and fencing material.
These ‘forest products’ are supplied under contracts via auctions and tenders in accordance with State Supply Commission guidelines. The availability of forest products is very limited and therefore auctions and tenders occur intermittently.
Finished timber products (including flooring, sawn timber for furniture or construction, particleboard, firewood, etc.) must be purchased from either local sawmills, firewood suppliers or hardware stores.
