Auction for Sale of Specialty Log Timber

The Forest Products Commission (FPC) regularly makes specialty timber logs available to the general public through auction.

Logs are produced from around the State; many salvaged from various land clearing projects i.e. mining and roading. Extensive selections of species are usually offered, ranging from the precious Goldfields timbers to our highly featured southwest species.

Auction lot sizes are designed to accommodate small commercial operators, craftspeople and hobbyist requiring logs or small amounts of craftwood.

The auctions are held at the FPC Harvey Mill and are run usually every three to five months. Notice of the auctions are placed in the classified section of Saturday's edition of The Western Australian and Thursday's edition of the South Western Times newspapers. A mailing list is also available for people wanting to receive personal notice.
