STF and Natural Resource Management Groups
Natural resource management (NRM) groups are important partners with FPC in delivering the Strategic Tree Farming project.
Regional NRM groups are local not-for-profit community organisations that plan and advise on issues and best practices for natural resources in their local region. They set targets to improve resource conditions, and have access to funding for specified on-ground outcomes.
By concentrating our efforts on industry development cells within identified high priority catchment areas, the Forest Products Commission works hand in hand with NRM groups to achieve positive outcomes for the environment, landholders and regional timber industry development.
