GROW WITH US

The Forest Products Commission is always on the lookout for talented individuals who want to grow with us.

Our employees have some of the state’s best natural environments as part of their offices, and enjoy work/life benefits including flexible working hours and salary arrangements, access to health and wellness benefits, corporate clothing allowance, career development and educational assistance, and on-site parking.

Our people work together in planning for the future to deliver a sustainable forest industry. This includes a State and Federal Government supported plan to work in partnership with local communities tackling environmental problems such as dryland salinity. Through these and other efforts, more than 8.3 million trees were planted last year alone.

With operations as far north as Kununurra, east to Kalgoorlie, and south to Esperance, our staff are located throughout Western Australia.

As an end-to-end service provider certified under internationally recognised environmental standards, our work doesn’t stop at just planting a tree in the ground and managing it ready for future harvest. Our award winning commercial production facilities at West Manjimup are always devising methods to nurture better trees, while our scientists and researchers work on the cutting edge of forestry. Their laboratory is the forest floor, and their white coats are replaced by jeans and work boots as they look at the environmental benefits forestry provides in areas including carbon sequestration, water table management, and how to manufacture improved and innovative products from forest materials in a sustainable way.

We are a team oriented organisation, with positions starting at entry-level opportunities for those seeking a foot in the door to a career in forestry, as well as specialist roles in various disciplines including professional forestry, scientific research, management and administration, communications and policy.

And, as the State’s leading provider of forestry services, you leave the office each day knowing that your work has helped to deliver positive benefits for our environment, which will be enjoyed for many generations to come.

If you’re a motivated, energetic person who’s ready for a challenge, you’re exactly the individual we want to talk with. To find out exactly how you can grow with us, view the list of positions on offer with us and apply now.
